You get a fairer deal with YouFibre

Feb 13, 2025

Today we’re announcing a new commitment in our fight for fairness - our new Loyalty Promise for our renewing customers.

As you come near to the end of your contract, you can renew on the same offers available to new customers.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it. One price for everyone. Sadly, it isn’t the standard from other broadband providers. So, we’re out to change things.

Our new Loyalty Promise, together with our Fixed-Price plans, means you get a fairer broadband deal from us than customers of the big 4 providers – where newbies often get bigger discounts than loyal customers, and where in-contract price rises are all too common.

Now, everyone with YouFibre broadband will benefit from the same fair deal.

Ryan Battle, our Managing Director, says:

Our customers’ broadband package prices have always been fixed during their contracts. And from now, our loyal customers will have even more price certainty as they reach their contract end, with access to our advertised offers, just like our new customers. This cements our commitment to giving a fairer deal to everyone.

If you’ve ever been frustrated, or felt cheated, by new customers getting a better deal than loyal ones, or felt robbed by mid-contract rises, we’re ready to show there is a Full Fibre broadband provider that truly looks after their customers with transparent pricing.”

All our customers are protected from price rises during their contract with a Fixed-Price plan. It’s what helped us scoop ‘Best Provider’ in the 2024 Broadband Genie Awards and kept us ahead of the latest Ofcom change, which (as of last month) prohibits providers from hiding inflation-linked or percentage-based increases in new contracts.

But this Ofcom change doesn’t stop broadband price hikes mid-contract. The big providers still have fixed annual price increases written into their contracts. All except Sky, who (under the Ofcom rules) must allow customers to leave if they hike the price – and Sky are doing just that – they’ve recently announced a 6.2% increase from 1 April, triggering a 30-day window from notification for customers to leave without paying a penalty.

Ryan Battle, Managing Director, added:

Our contracts don’t have price rises written into them; they never have, so we’ve always been one step ahead of BT, Virgin, plus many others AND the Ofcom change.

We’re urging UK customers to keep an eye on their inbox and their contracts and fight back against the price rises by voting with their subscription fee and moving their services. We’re committed to bringing our customers broadband that’s fast, futureproof, but above all, fair.”
